Probably not the best place to post, but I don't know where else.
So, I recently got moved into a scheduling/managerial position. I've made my peace with the work itself, but the job only pays $20 an hour and doesn't come with any time off (paid or otherwise) or health insurance. I live in California, so $20/hr doesn't go very far, and even the people I schedule make $22/hr.
Am I justified in asking for a raise? I don't have anyone I need to support financially except the cat, but I would like to move out of my parents' house lol.
