I just returned from paternity leave and got my second check after a month. It was $57.00. They say this is correct even though the math does not add up.

When I received my first check, I noticed I’d be overpaid by roughly $100.00. I reported this to payroll who advised that they would submit a ticket and rectify the issue. I received my second check and it was only $57.00 and 100 hours short. My manager says something is definitely wrong, but the payroll manager insists that this was a result of the leave time being fixed. The math does NOT add up. I’m going in circles trying to fix this all the while, bill auto drafts are murdering my account. What more can I do here and what is my employer responsible for?
