I'm a software engineer, and I have been underpayed consistently by the industry. I'm bad at negotiating and routinely end up getting 50% of what the industry standard is
I feel really hopeless and I just want to quit doing it all, but I don't want to live on the street. I would love nothing more than to just work every day on my own projects (I find ways to take time away from work to do this anyway) but I need the income to keep a roof over my head.
I know this must be a common question, but all of us here are anti work. Is there a plan? How does one disengage?
