And why you keep the earplugs in your ears any chance you got. Why you stay up late on the phone. I know also why you scroll through r/news or r/worldnews or r/collapse or antiwork maybe, waiting for a society breakdown, for a war or for anything – hoping for some kind of change, like a revolution. I know why majority of you flew to universities and read through the books all the time, labouring in fact. And nobody understands because if they knew how much you put to run away from being either totally enslaved by regular working class conditions or defeated and pushed into oblivion of homelessness they would weep for you and your frantic desperate efforts. Always occupied, never here and now. It's because I know, and you know – that your life doesn't belong to you.
Place where you sleep doesn't belong to you. It's either parents', landlord's or your bank's place where you lay down to sleep every night. Your job, if you have a job is also not your job. Who decides when you work? Who decides how you work? How you dress, how much you get paid, what you do, what you do with the profits that your job (would you believe that?) creates, etc etc. How about the schools? Same story, you do not have a say -simple as that. Even the goddamn government, the media, the city sidewalk doesn't give a shit about your actual opinion.
I know all of this because I'm exactly what you are. A working class person.
I just wanted you to know that there are millions, hundreds of millions of the people like you and me. And you are seen, even if by some redditor like me – and our time will come.
