I've been doing the work of someone in a senior position for well over a month. I was promised the position. I'm the #1 trainer in my department and there's only one person who's been here longer than me.
Well, my numbers slipped two parts per hour below quota (while I was training two people and having to stop and fix the damn machines) and my boss said I'm not getting the promotion. Instead they offered me a lower position than what I'd been promised and wanted me to keep doing a senior position job for a whole, whopping 50 cent an hour raise.
My old boss quit because of similar bullshit. Found them on social media, their new job is hiring. I'm gonna try to work with them again.
