Yesterday, I was reading a couple of negative reviews on one of the places I used to work at. I don’t want to give out the exact name of the place because it is popular. Most of the negative reviews where only one person being in the store and had to close it for 30 minutes (don’t know the reason why). Other reviews explained how the workers don’t wash their hands after using the register or don’t wear gloves while handling food. I quit when COVID started and found a much better job that payed me 10x better. I heard most of the original workers left. 2 guys stayed longer until they graduated college. When COVID hit, everyone just left and the store had to be closed for a couple of days. People were pissed that we were out of certain items and had to remind them kindly of social distancing. After all of this, you would think the owner would shut down the place, he didn’t. The owner is desperate and would do anything to have money in his pocket. Not to mention, cheap as hell. When it comes to payday, he takes literally all day because he doesn’t want to pay any of his employees. Eventually this place will be shut down, maybe by next year is my guess.
