I am so disgusted by the way I’ve been treated by my employer. I have had severe suicidal episodes and didn’t make it to work for 2 days. Mind you, the doctors wrote a note to my employer saying my absences are excused. The owner of the company calls and harasses me being “why do you have anxiety and depression” “my daughter told me she had anxiety and I told her she didn’t” “get a hobby” and she took me off the schedule and told me “I run a business”. It was one of the most invalidating things I’ve ever experienced in my life. I was promised by this week to have a normal work schedule again and I check the schedule and I’m not scheduled. Why am I being penalized for a medical issue? Is this even legal? Someone please help.
