So, my boss at my new workplace (I started slightly over a month ago) just gave me a warning for using my phone at work. I know how it sounds, but hear me out – there's literally nothing to do. I understand if there's work to do and I'm just slacking around on my phone, but no one gave me anything to do, and I even asked around with no results. When I told my boss this, he just said I should go ask other teams for work, but I feel like I've already gone above and beyond, and I'm pretty sure if I asked other teams I'd still be given no work. And isn't it on him for not giving me work to do? At this point, I'm not even sure why they hired me, they obviously don't need me. What should I do? Am I being entitled?
