First of all this isn’t about me, it’s about a friend who needs help but they don’t have Reddit!
I took a job role as a team leader in a two man job doing manual work for a water company. I had a labourer at the time who I would travel to pick up and take home every morning and night as he was unable to drive.
Due to stress with the job and some personal issues i had a breakdown and stepped down from my job, I got a new role as a backup support driver for the teams in the water company, my labourer has a new team leader who is able to drive. Work has told me I still have to collect the labourer everyday and take him home, it is adding a extra hour drive in the morning and a extra two hour drive home at night and they are telling me I have to do it and I have no choice in the matter.
Does anyone have any advice for me or know if I’m legally allowed to refuse to collect them as I’m no longer there team leader?
