I work at a level 1 trauma hospital as an X-ray tech, and our department is falling apart thanks to upper management. It basically started when we got basically nothing for working during Covid, and nurses got raises and bonuses. People slowly started leaving, we have failing equipment that management has refused to upgrade for years… it's turned into a shit show. The 2nd shift supervisor left after being there for 18 years, fully staffed, 2nd shift has 15 techs, we're sitting at 5 right now. We have travelers that are making more than us, and new hires are getting paid more than some of the people that have been there for 3 years. Morale is basically non existent at this point.
ANYWAY, our schedules have always had some kind of picture on it, whether it's our pets, or some kind of meme. My buddy started doing the schedule, since we don't have a Supervisor, and he put some spicy memes (see attached) on the two most recent schedules. He got a “cease and desist” from the 1st shift supervisor, because its “contributing to a hostile work environment”. So now I need overly happy/pro work memes to mock her. Do your worst/best, reddit.
