About to shoot of an email to HR but just wanted to get some comments here before doing so.
I started working for a non-profit organization on Monday, Feb 20th. I signed the offer a week prior and sent the then-accepted offer to my current employer and asked them to counter it. On Thursday, Feb 23rd, I received the counter-offer from my current employer which was SUBSTANTIALLY better so Friday, Feb 24th I walked into the office of the NPO and told them I had received a better offer and walked out.
I still have not been paid for the four days I worked for them, and am not willing to leave $960 ($30x32hrs) just sitting on the table. I SHOULD have been paid on March 3rd. I waited until the following pay period last Friday to make sure it didn’t show up then. Nada.
What should I email HR? Do your worst r/antiwork !!
Edit: The four days I worked for them was training. At NO POINT was there ever any discussion or mention of that being unpaid. I have the offer letter, it mentions nothing about unpaid training.
Also, I am in Seattle.
