I worked in a supermarket for a few weeks. The director of the place, “the boss”, is an absolute arsehole who loves to micromanage and critise the work of every-single-bloody-worker. I don't exaggerate a bit. Every bloody single task had to be critised. It didn't matter if it was a veteran worker who had been there for 15 years or someone like me less than a month. An annoying sour critic.
I guess the idiot had to justify his salary and he didin't know any other way.
So, after having another argument (almost every day we had one because of his stupid comments and ambiguos orders) I decided it was enough. Either I walk out or punch his face, and I'm quite stronger than him so I would have made quite a mess of that feeble imbecile.
So I redacted a mail to HHRR telling them that I gave up my trial period since this guy was making it absolutely unbearable.
It's not that I'm a crappy worker or something like that. This guy was moved from another supermarket because of sexual harassment towards one of his employees and no one, and I mean it, has ever spoken well about him in 3 weeks. Nobody.
That moron was already short-staffed and I hope he enjoys the lack of one worker during this weekend.
