A little backround, im trying to find a new job after 6 years in the grocery store from hell. I quit that job cuz I couldnt handle it anymore, but thats a different story.
Todays problem is im in this government programme trying to get me a job, cuz I struggle with it greatly where i live. I have allready had 3 Jobs where i put in 6 months full time work for free, for the “possibility” of getting hired. Last time i did it i worked 10 hours a day, 5 days a week for 6 months, without making a fucking dime. When I finished i got a 20% position.
I have told my contact person i fucking refuse to work more for free. Its not acceptable. I believe physical Labour deserves payment, no matter how “good” u are at the job. I do the same exact fucking thing as everyone Else even its my first week.
My contact trough this programme absolutaly refuses to listen to me. Every possibility she lays infront of me is 3-6 months of a ” experience period” with a fucking maybe at the end. And if ur accepted after all ur hard work, u land on “training period” pay which is NOTHING for the next two years
If this society absolutaly demands that I work for 3 years to get “full benefits from the workplace” then I dont wanna be a part of it.
I have No problem working hard, im a young, strong man, but what I do refuse is working for free. I know my own abilites and I deserve nothing less then being payed for my work.
Fuck you pay me.
