If I interview with a company and they offer me a salary less than they are advertising the job description, I end the interview. I send a cease and desist to all my contacts in the company. Do not contact me if you lie to me in the interview. We are done. I refuse to give my precious time to employers using these tactics to exploit people they believe will take lower pay. If employers are hiring urgently and need qualified employees, they need to suck it up and pay what is advertised. It should be illegal to offer an amount lower than advertised in the job description.
