So I finally did it…I put in my 2 weeks notice. And work told me to pound sand and not return. So I only had 30 hours on the pay period.
Company emails me and says due to a recent change in the attendance policy, vacation time is availible right away but is acurred throughout the year. So supposivedly I owe then for 24(ish) hours of pto that I used but “didnt earn”
Lo and behold, payday comes, and after insurance and taxes, and repayment of my “vacation time” of 24.478 hours (we work 10 hour days….what!?) My check actually by some mathematic miracle broke even at 0.00.
The odds of that are just astounding.
Good riddance to a bad company.
