I should have quitted earlier

After being dragged to come into the office the entire covid (everyone else had the option to stay home), after massive turnovers and working 8 months alone on 2 people position and then dealing with disgruntled admins to train who would eventually quit – I finally gave up. My manager pulled me to the side to have a chat and essentially and literally said “you will regret this” and even said that I'm problematic and “what if your partner left you – will that affect your work too if you ended up staying?” (We were discussing possibility of me staying if I got some good privileges). THE CHEEK. THEY HAVE NO ONE TO TRAIN NEW STAFF. I know I should have left earlier but sometimes you put yourself in a fear prison in your head and continue pulling this garbage just to pay your bills. Finally no more of this…

Finally no more of this fear. I'm free.
