The place I work for is Toxic! Everyday we get a 20 min lecture for something. In-between our supervisors call us children and berate us. When we ask questions they are retuned with hostility and disrespect. They joke about teaching people lessons. Like tricking the work place thief into eating cat food. They tell people they need to bathe and wash they stinky ass. They also state it because mothers didn't teach you how to bathe….. Wtf! Or my favorite no lunch breaks because the union voted them away?!?!?! Lamo THE UNION VOTED YOUR LUNCH BREAKS AWAY. (Confused I know the feeling) Anyway the point of me even posting. I work in a factory and all the employees in my department decided to throw a holiday party pot luck. We were all gonna bring something. I volunteered to bring drinks and paper plates. Its a long walk from the employee parking lot to our department. So I decided to bring half the day before on the account of how heavy it was gonna be. I put them in my locker and would bring the rest the day of the party. Well fast forward to literally the next fucking day… I open my locker to bring out the 2-12 packs of soda and they were gone! GONE!! So I panic a little after my coworkers said the morning supervisors cleaned out the lockers. Wait! What?!! Go talk to our supervisor. So I did and he didn't like how frantic I was in my voice. Kept saying no you need to clam down.. ok I'm calm.. where is my pop I brought in for the pot luck today? (I'm not rich and it took a lot of money to buy drinks for all my coworkers so yeah I was upset.) All he said is everyones lockers were cleaned out not just mine and everything was put in a trash bag in the locked cage. I asked why and he got angry. He went on to say I'm acting like a child and won't talk to children. You can't just go in our lockers and take shit out. You have to tell us and we get rid of it. He started to scream at me and told me I was wrong and acting like a child. He said no food is allowed overnight in our lockers. Since when?? Well anyway all of our stuff was shoved in a trash bag. (Mind you we have almost 70 employees) Meanwhile he's screaming about respect in the work place as people are trying to grasp the situation for what it is. Just imagine a giant trash bag with you and your coworkers food you brought to eat through out the week. Isn't there some kind of boundary to what an employer can do to your property? I know it's there locker but still it's your property. Huh deep breath lol..I was eventually sent home. Well more like he screamed GET OUT and I left because I asked why didn't they just ask us to clean out our lockers instead of doing it for us. If they don't fire me I'm probably gonna quit. So many things wrong with this place.
