Now that the unemployment appeal period has passed, I can post this. Also taking the chance that I'm doxxing myself. In 14 years with this employer, I never had so much as a verbal warning. Was I a perfect employee? No, absolutely not- I got frustrated and vocal just like anybody else.
I also believe self-appraisals/reviews are bullshit. To me, it's the equivalent of interviewing for a job you already have.
