I think most agree we need to increase the minimum wage at the federal level, but what should it be?

I love that many states are raising there minimum wages but still its not enough. And many states still follow the federal minimum. I see people say 15 dollars alot but is that even enough? And what downsides and problems might happen if company's were forced to pay higher wages?
