I think this movement is a generational thing vent

Not to bring down the boomer gen, because in history they were bamboozled and abused imo by this system. However, it is funny how my parents freak out if I take a sick day out of nowhere. They don't understand how I get to choose my life over some empty job. Talking to my parents during the pandemic and how my mom and I saw how so many people got back to being human beings. While my dad said “humans are made to work” When I looked at him I realized how he was brainwashed by this system. Now again, I do have certain friends my age that are still chasing the dream they will never achieve because they don't realize they don't have the talent, income, or connections these billionaires have lol. However, even in my work the older individuals freak out if I decided to do what's best…

When I looked at him I realized how he was brainwashed by this system.

Now again, I do have certain friends my age that are still chasing the dream they will never achieve because they don't realize they don't have the talent, income, or connections these billionaires have lol.

However, even in my work the older individuals freak out if I decided to do what's best for me and don't understand we don't have to be trapped in this system if we don't want too. Jobs need us just as much as we need them. Ofcourse until AI takes our jobs lol.

However, I don't understand how this older generation can't get over the fact we don't want to work for 40 years to able to drink water. It's insanity.
