I told other people how much I was getting paid, and my boss threatened me.

For a little context I’m 17, and I got a new job a few weeks ago. This is the next day now and he sent me a text saying “Man you causing me a lot of problems on pay”. Should I just reply with “was not my intentions” and apologize?

TLDR: people at work are unhappy a 17yo is getter by paid more then them and boss is mad and wants me to keep quiet about it. I think the damage is already done as it seems everyone knows.
