Today I had to listen to my boss and a few other coworkers discuss how a few people couldn’t qualify for a thing (to clarify this is a thing that should be attainable by any person working full time, sorry trying to keep it vague) because their monthly wages were “wayyy to low”… while thinking about how all of those people make more than me, and I know this because I was the one who processed all of the paperwork. The saddest part is, they pay me well compared to many people in similar positions in this area. It just doesn’t count for shit when looking at the cost of living these days.
