I have been fuming a while because of decisions the higher ups made. They are pushing me into another job after I’ve spent years working on my career. I get new job offers constantly and turn them down because up until recently I’ve been pretty happy.
Anyway I finally reached a breaking point. I was doing some regular maintenance (not my job) and boss comes by and nitpicks how I’m doing it. I gave a little attitude but did it the way he wanted. After I finished and he was in the office I just walked out.
Took a full 45 minutes before anyone realized I had left and bothered to call me, I didn’t answer the first 3 calls. I answered the 4th call because my phone annoys me.
Well see how monday goes if I decide to go in at all.
