My office starts at 10:30 and there was this PR (public relation article) feedback work. I was told to rework and submit the PR work by 11am which was impossible to achieve. I needed time and research to do anything with that.
I messaged the group saying “ I have written this as per the brief and the content I received. If there is anything else, I should have got some more research or content. Also, this is a very tight deadline which is impossible to achieve.”
I was told by my manager that this message was rude and not acceptable. I am in a dilemma because I rarely showcase my frustration and I never did in words. I always calm myself and work it out.
