I absolutely hate it. I have a one on one today and I'm going to address it but I'm not sure how to go about it.
My manager told me yesterday we aren't hiring a cashier for nights and only 3 people can do closing work now. One manager, one logistics and one cashier but really whoever they want as cashier i guess. I only work nights and have expressed many times (including during my interview) my lack of interest in the public and its generally not good for my mental health. My manager told me they hired one cashier for mornings and another logistics person for nights.
I'm OK to work registers as a backup or cover for a break, but they're having me on registers for several hours more and more often. I feel like I might cry during my one on one because I can't do it.
