Antiwork

I was hired for an entry level work from home job. My very first. November 28th, 2022. I am already looking for another WFH job.

I make 11 dollars an hour to talk with patients. Medical Staff. Drivers. I answer sometimes a little over 100 calls on a busy day. I schedule and help to coordinate transportation for non-emergency medical appointments. I work from home. 8:30 – 5, every day except the weekends. Overtime is optional. I have to deal with a lot of angry people, and follow insurance laws and medical privacy laws, and act professionally for 11 dollars an hour. I am glued to my desk. I get 20 minutes of unpaid break a day including bathroom time. Other than that, I am glued to my desk. My activity is heavily monitored to make sure I am working. All of this and I do not make enough money to support myself. They did promise a raise. Health insurance. And performance reviews. I asked about these things recently, and no one has said anything.…

All of this and I do not make enough money to support myself.

They did promise a raise. Health insurance. And performance reviews. I asked about these things recently, and no one has said anything. And I know they saw it, and ignored it.

I am currently adding all of my new skills to my resume, to attain a different WFH job.

Edit: I am trained to work for the insurance for 3 states. California. Connecticut. And Arizona.
I am being trained to take calls for Texas insurance soon. More calls. More work. No talk of a pay raise.
