Under no circumstances will I ever do this. I'm a goddamn good employee. Even when i got paid shit I did the best I could. I feel bad doing a bad job at work. I take pride in it.
My second job ever I called off because I felt like it. Manager told me I needed a doctors note or I would be suspended. I told him I would get one, thought about it, then stopped showing up.
They called back the next day offering me a promotion because I was one of the few people that gave a fuck about the quality of their work for 7.75/hr (2012 money). I never returned and this grocery chain eventually went bankrupt. Ultra Foods lmao. What a shit policy they had.
Ever since then I decided I would never give a doctors note. It's zero of their business and I don't owe them accountability for my time.
