I keep seeing so many posts of bad managers or jobs with at best cringe-worthy takes on the state of things but I'm gonna be honest: I'm thinking of finding a place like that just so I have a job.
I left my job voluntarily in February, mainly due to how overworked and stressed I was. I felt great at first but now I'm afraid because I'm facing eviction next month. I've applied to literally hundreds of jobs, whether or not I'm actually qualified, and only got four interviews. All of them turned me down. I wish the world wasn't so screwed up and that I didn't feel like I had to beg and exploit myself just to keep a roof over my head.
