I missed receiving the letter today. I have to pick it up tomorrow. My friend suggested it may be a legal letter. Why would they be sending me a legal letter?
Context: The receptionist who trained me talked bad about the previous receptionists and current staff. (As if I cared! I didn’t even know these people.) For 2 days straight. I thought “noooope, this isn’t for me.”
I quit on the 3rd day. I spoke with the officer manager and said “I apologize but this isn’t going to work out. I don’t appreciate Old Receptionist talking so negatively about previous receptionists and it makes me uncomfortable. I don’t think we will have a good working relationship.” I handed my keys to him and I left my notepad there (with my training notes, Outlook log in.) I emailed HR and said along the lines of “I hope to be paid for my time during those 2 days.” (They were 10 hour training days!) and thanked her for being kind during the hiring process (We had to communicate a few times.) I got paid (direct deposit) and I moved on with my life.
That was last week and today I missed a certified letter post-marked yesterday. I don’t understand. I didn’t leave any negative reviews. I personally don’t know anyone who works there. I found this job on Indeed. I don’t even remember anything she trained me on- it was A LOT. My mind turned to mush. I honestly haven’t even thought about them since that day! I don’t understand what they could be sending me.
Any idea as to what they could be sending me? These people give me the creeps!!
I HATE these jobs. I’m working hard on building my own business. I can’t deal with job anxiety anymore. They’re all toxic and vile.
