I have nothing against religion or anything, and it was nice of them to give me a job. But they would require their employees to tithe 10% of their paycheck back to the church. Which to me made no sense. Why would you give 10% of your money, back to your employer? And if you didn’t agree to do it, you couldn’t work there.. I was just the groundskeeper, I mowed and gardened and everything. Anyway, I was reminded of this recently and thought I’d share it here.
