Antiwork

I would be content with a wage that could simply pay the rent and afford food and a minor luxury now and then. Does anyone agree?

I know personally my work output would skyrocket if I wasn't living in fear of going hungry or losing my home month to month. Unfortunately there are no real living wage jobs I am qualified to do as an unskilled and unqualified worker. I'm 28 and only worked in entry level customer service jobs and if I tried to get qualifications at a college, I wouldn't be able to afford the rent in the meantime. I can't even afford it now, I'm back living with my mother and imposing on her because I just can't make enough money to support myself even though I've been working since I was around 19. I feel like a lot of people are stuck in the same position as I am. If min wage could pay for rent and food simultaneously the world would be rainbows. Very depressing considering that's what you'd assume would…
