Just abandoned an application for a company that demands you take an assessment quiz before they'll accept your application. No fucking way am I spending 30 minute-1 hour of unpaid labor to help your algorithm or AI screen me for you so I can be rejected simply for saying I “slightly agree” with the wrong thing.
Fuck any manager that thinks they can make you answer a 100+ QUESTION QUIZ knowing full well that the majority of applications received will be auto-rejected before a human has ever laid eyes on them. I am not wasting my time on that shit and no one else should either.
Unless you are already in the interview process and have discussed the terms of employment on the table, then things like this only show they simply think of you as a number and will never respect or value you.
