Is it just me (it's not) or is the work atmosphere in America particularly terrible?
I quit my job on the spot last week after becoming tired of my daily anxiety attack at work (and my nightly post-work anxiety attack). I was like, how is this even real life?
Now, my girlfriend quit her job on the spot last night. Her boss was abusive.
So, here we are, poor but at least free for now from working in toxic situations. I am starting a job delivering pizzas soon to survive for the time being.
I will probably have to move out of my apartment at some point since I won't be able to afford it anymore. But last night my girlfriend said “I'd rather be poor” than in that situation. And it's so real.
I am inspired by the Chinese “Let it Rot” movement. Seriously, F modern society.
