IKEA can't find enough workers to open a store in Timișoara.
They are offering 2000lei (after taxes) per month. This is only 100lei (20€) over the minimum wage.
Some of the requirements you need to meet in order are:
- at least 1.5 years experience
- to be able to lift at least 25kg
- speak English
- willing to work shifts
- work weekends
- enthusiasm
The average Romanian earns around 4000lei (after taxes) and even with that it can be hard to pay for everything you need so imagine how it is to work so hard for so very little. They really think that they'll find their slaves here.
