In the last 2 years I have been royally fucked by two separate jobs.
I have a degree, a huge amount of work experience in my field along with personal experience. I'm not saying I'm an expert in my field but I can at least play ball with them.
Job #1: State job in my field that I was immediately fired from after having a potentially fatal medical condition. My doctor prescribed meds disqualified me. (Already looked into legal action, it's a mute point)
Job #2: Private company in my field of expertise. I was hired almost a year ago and since then have made the company it's 3 most successful months by $10k/each. I grew contacts, have almost single handedly run the business for several months through expansion (largely due to myself profiting the company), got a fantastic team hired, and grew the customer base immensely.
The owner and I had talked about me buying the company and getting a plan together several months ago.
A few days ago I am informed that my assistant manager (who I hired and fought to give raises to) and his girlfriend bought the business. The first course of action was to fire me.
