I need help. I've been working for someone for 10 years and I have been verbally abused every day for the past 8. I became disabled and home bound and that's when it began. My boss knows its nearly impossible for me to get another job because of my disability and has used me as their punching bag ever since. My parents have passed and no siblings. I'm alone. They treat me like a slave, dehumanize me, talk about my parents who passed away and more. I haven't gotten a raise in 6 years and fall into further debt so I have enough to buy food at the the end of the month. I cant afford to see a doctor even tho i have lesions spreading down my leg, became deathly allergic to dust and found a tumor/cyst under my arm pit. I wanted to quit yesterday, live on the remaining credit cards i have and try to find new work even tho its seems impossible, I'd rather take my chances and try. But they wont fire me and if they wont fire me, i cant claim unemployment. I ask if they fired me and they evade or do not respond to the question. They talked about my deceased dad and I called them names for it and they still wont fire me. If i don't work hard enough in their eyes they deduct my pay. If they harass and argue with me, they consider it me not working and deduct my pay. I'm paying for them to abuse me. How can I get out of this and still qualify for unemployment?
