So I (20F) basically work as a store shopper for groceries and stuff and lately things have been rough. (Bars.) On a serious note, other employees keep approaching me asking about my age and when I say that I’m 20, they just act surprised and say that I look 15. But that’s only because I’m frickin 4’11. And whenever I ask for help, I keep getting laughed at. There’s also this passive aggressiveness I’m starting to see from my managers. They expect me to work quicker and quicker but it’s so hard to find certain items especially when they’re out of stock. It takes a long time. It doesn’t help being compared to other peers because of this. Like gosh I’m sorry that I’m not rich enough to experience that amount of grocery shopping. It’s expensive over there. I just don’t know what to do so I sent a resignation email since I don’t see my boss much. I even asked if we could talk in person about it. I just hope it goes well. I even thought about purposely getting myself fired but I’d rather end on good terms.
