Yes I know, I never should have signed a contract with that rule. But now I’m stuck with someone who, the last two times someone left, told everyone actual lies about how bad they were at their job and how awful they were as people. I don’t care what she thinks of me but I love my colleagues and I don’t want them being told a bunch of untrue BS about me. I know this is probably unavoidable (especially since I only lasted 6 months because of what a bully my boss is). However it is a tiny industry and my boss has a lot of influence.
I also want tips on how to survive working with her after I give my notice. I know she’ll be furious. She’ll almost certainly ice me out and make performing my job really hard. I’m already planning to ask to use my two weeks of leave for the final two weeks. Anything else I can do to preserve my reputation and survive?
