As the title suggests. This is my first time posting here, but long story short ever since the whole cost of living started spiralling, I’ve been working nonstop.
I make decent money, but overnight I suddenly couldn’t afford to live. Since February I’ve been working 13 days on, 1 day off – across 2 jobs.
Yesterday I was talking to my therapist, and she suggested I take a couple of days off, so I messaged my manager and just straight told him that next Thursday/Friday, I’m taking as AL. I have a 10 day holiday coming up in 2 weeks, but I’m not gonna make it until then I just really need this.
Bless that man because he approved it on the spot and told me to get some rest, and he’s not going to deduct any days.
I now am going to have 4 days off in a row for the first time in like…4 months? And I could cry I’m so happy
