I’m fired 1 week from now?

I'm in a right-to-work and I work in two mental health clinics. Recently, I got an opportunity to transition completely over to one of the clinics with all of my clients. So I decided to put in my notice 4 weeks from now at the other clinic. This amount of time for notice (sometimes even more) is actually considered normal in mental health to help transition the care of our clients properly. However, my contract with this particular clinic apparently stated I need 2 months notice and I also hadn't officially finished 1 years worth of work with them which was also on the contract (I quit at 7 months).

Now, UT is a right to work state. So when it comes down to it, I do not give any fucks about contracts that are not legally binding. My boss tried to strong arm me by mentioning the breaches in the contract and even asked me to reimburse for trainings. They also made sure to mention, “we will not pursue you for potential loss of revenue” – as if. What a joke.

I told my boss that I would still be leaving in 4 weeks and I would not be reimbursing them for any mandatory trainings. My boss responded and told me that I would now be terminated 1 week from now instead.

I talked with the clinic that Im transfering to and they said, “Sure! Come over quicker, we don't care”. But this decision to terminate earlier definitely feels like an emotional stunt. It partially feels like a jab at my professional reputation too, in that it doesn't actually give my clients and me enough time to transition properly. Most of them will be just fine at the end of the day, but it's still almost even ethically questionable (under the mental health profession).

Now I'm just trying to figure out what I want to do so I came here for advice. Part of me wants to leave with a really nice burn. I don't want to be TOO petty, but I'm not one to shy away from sticking it to the fucking man. I've had all manner of ideas like not showing up next week instead, just to remove a week's worth of income from their business (and take a vacation). I've also thought of writing them a really nice email thanking them for allowing me to transition so soon (reverse psychology?). I need more ideas. Please help!
