My job itself is fine, and I find it easy. However my boss is an ass. My boss had a bad day and yelled at me for something that was his fault. This caused me to have an emotional breakdown and an anxiety attack (I don't handle being yelled at well). This also made me depressed and made working very hard. I felt resentment for quite a while but it started to fade. Then a few months later we talked. I said that he gives me anxiety and that I would do my job and that is it. He said that wasn't enough and I had to do more and if I didn't I would be fired. That was a month or two ago and it hasn't come up again.
I'm thinking, WTF. You fucked up and you want to fire me because I don't want to do more work you at my expense. This caused my depression to spiral. I have a hard time doing work because of the depression he gave me, which is compounded by his threat of firing. Now it's a struggle to do the bear minimum with the looming threat over me. This caused my anxiety and depression to be so great, my blood pressure is so high I need to be on medication now, along with increasing my anti-depression medication. Normally I would tell my boss about my struggle, but I cannot because he could fire me for saying something.
I'm applying for new jobs now, but it will be so great to tell him to fuck off the day after I sign a new offer. I'm the only one who performs my function so it will be a scramble for them. I can't wait.
