First of all: Fuck Joe Biden. Fuck the Democrats. Fuck the Republicans.
There are plenty of other subs dominated by neoliberal thinking where these commenters can voice their opinions and have the backing and support of the moderators. Conversations where Joe Biden is still being defended as “pro-union” or subverting the conversation by saying that Republicans are the reason why the union wasn't supported are just forum sliding.
I would suggest that as a sub we believe that congress blocking a strike, no matter what the terms were, was anti-union behavior and we're not interested in entertaining conversations to the contrary here. A three day ban would stop these pointless arguments in their tracks but would prevent commenters from returning if they wish to discuss other topics or have a change in perspectives.
P.S. Just to be clear, this is all in regards to comments on this sub. I don't propose comments or perspectives shared on other subs should be reviewed.
