I’m On-Call 24/7

I can’t tell if my schedule is somewhat normal as I’m new to the “professional” work-force. A little background: I’m 24, in recovery from substance abuse, and got a job at the Rehab that helped me get sober. I started as a driver per-diem and worked my way up to Director of Transportation. I work with one other supervisor, who’s a title above me but does jack shit. Anyway, I work about 50 hours a week for $60k but it’s starting to take a toll that I must answer my phone 24hrs a day to set up transportation, problem solve, and drive in the case we are short on drivers. It could be an hour after I leave, 2am — doesn’t matter. I’m expected there, and if I can’t, I get the speech “this is why you make the big bucks” by the program director. Just last week, I worked…

Just last week, I worked three 12 hour days and I was on the phone all weekend. Is this normal for my salary? Should I ask for more?
