I’m so done with my job that even hr can’t rectify my problems

So I’m relatively new to the working world, I’ve only ever had 3 jobs as I just turned 18, but this job in particular has done it for me. I recently started working for this huge place that takes your donated things for a massive profit (they keep raising prices at this store every month) mr blue smiley, I thought this place was gonna be great I’d barely have to do anything and it would pay me 14$ an hour, who wouldn’t want that, but it was too good to be true and I’ve just about had it with the retail world even though that’s all I’ve ever worked. The thing that set this all off for me actually happened today funnily enough, I was working register taking roughly 5-7 people at a time by myself as the other person cashing took the rest of the day off (which is…

The thing that set this all off for me actually happened today funnily enough, I was working register taking roughly 5-7 people at a time by myself as the other person cashing took the rest of the day off (which is whatever I mean sure it sucks that that happened but I’m able to handle myself) however my management apparently didn’t think that was good (rightfully so I’d not want to be sitting in this line either) so she gets a manager sent up to help me cash (which I’m thankful for but this comes back to bite me) I then finish out my customer and walk off to go do what other assignments we are given like restocking the selves of randomness or fixing the clothes we have. This apparently causes a huge ass line to go up to cash out (which I never heard or saw) this also causes both managers to come out and cash as supposedly they called my name even though I was not even 15 feet away from them to which I would have #1 seen the line and #2 would have heard my own name. But they wrap it all up and then come up to me saying that they cannot keep cashing out people as that’s not their job, which makes sense I mean that’s why I am there but even if I was cashing out they thought the line was too long with just me so they would have had to have someone out there anyways to help support, but it would make sense if I were allowed to stand behind the register while people are coming up to cash out but we aren’t allowed to sit and wait for customers, so to sum this up I’m not allowed to have a long line, but I’m also not allowed to have someone from management checkout with me. So what am I supposed to do then you may ask, they told me to stay as close to the register without being behind the register and that I should pay attention more to the line and the registers. They then proceeded to both go back into the break room and sit and bs about it, my coworker took several pictures of the two of them. On top of this though I wasn’t able to take my break until my lunch because of said lack of help so I got a “40” minute lunch yay 🙂
