I have two bosses, one that owns and the other that pretty much manages the business. I took off today because it’s been a while that I’ve had a day to myself. I work every day and the closest to an off day I could get without requesting one is going to 1 clients house for a short amount of time and I’m back home in about an hour.
I’m absolutely annoyed with the manager today because she really has the audacity to ask me if I could see a client on the only day I requested off and had the nerve to act irritated when I wouldn’t give in and say yes. But the minute you text her about scheduling “I’ll handle that tomorrow, I’m off today” BITCH! So wtf am I?!
It’s not like the job is hard, I love it, but it’s the principle of it all. You don’t want me to bother you on your day off, why tf are you bothering me and acting like I’m burdening you? I don’t even HAVE days off, I work EVERY DAY. They act like it’s a crime to have a full day off.
On top of that, the owner filed his taxes and gave me a 1099 claiming he paid me $4,500 over what I received. I told him about it and gave him the spreadsheet to prove it and he’s had an attitude with me since. I’m not paying taxes on what I was never paid! I could’ve just reported him to the IRS, he better get his shit together. I also wonder how many others he’s done this to.
They are so disorganized, inconsiderate, and selfish. You would think they’d treat their workers better, they only have like 5 people working for them, and I’m one of the main ones. If I quit they are in SHIT.
