If you do the math, if the railroad workers got the sick days the rail road would have to hire more workers to cover those days…so shipping cost would go up. Amazon Prime offers free shipping…so if the workers got their way Amazon would be on the hook for that increase in cost or would have to raise the price of prime. I would bet Bezos definitely made a phone call to someone in government about it…
