Let me first explain the situation i’m in. I work at a property investment company as a service technician and i get housing at the job I’m at (with only a %45 percent discount). If it wasnt for the cost and pay of everything it would be a sweet job. I like most of my co-workers (except for one i have to watch out for because he likes to snitch on everyone). I thought i had an ok relationship with my boss, but ever since i moved in i feel like a hawk is watching me. I hear from coworkers he will be checking accessed fobs (we use fobs for our doors including the units) and i see him constantly being sneaky and checking up on his workers. He will listen into conversations if he thinks we cant see him. This last friday when i had the day off i caught him looking up into my unit from outside (im on the second floor) and as soon as i saw him he walks away. Im really getting fed up with the micromanaging and i wish he was more of a leader and showed us instead of hiding behind us and using us. Hes been with the company for 18 years and hes waiting to retire so he acts like hes there for us but in the end he is there for the company and wont back us up, but instead will blame us. The general maintenance on the building is falling apart, he will ignore our requests or questions so we have to constantly be in his face about things, and his attitude is generally carefree and expects us to just get shit done no matter how but its gotta be perfect.. im just being on my A game for now until my lease is up. Is there any way i can bring this up to the company without it going bad on me? Is there a way to get out of this sooner? This is in SF.
