(Especially related to the USA)
I've seen an uptick in insurance companies that advertise their services to the younger generation by basically calling someone a loser if they're still on their parents' insurance when they're older. I know this isn't strictly work related, but their marketing tactic is to get people that don't have health insurance through their work to pay $100+ for insurance on their own, rather than staying in a family plan with their parents, that may have their family insurance plans subsidized through their work.
My parents don't have insurance, and I don't either, but I strongly feel like this will have a negative impact on many young Americans. I don't want to link any ads, because I don't want to give them more traction. I've seen a lot of them on YouTube, probably due to my worsening health conditions that I Google because I can't afford a doctor.
