Hello community,
I’m an employer and been a lurker of this subreddit for a couple of years.
I have implemented a lot of ideas mentioned on here and have been raising my employees pay the last couple of years as well. I believe I have created a comfortable working environment with the current staff.
Moving forward we will be hiring but I’m would like not to hire someone with personality issues. Entitlement, jealousy, vindictive, hateful, etc.
I have had issues with anti-vax employees now ex-employees (medical office) and that was something.
My question is: As an employer during an interview am I allowed to ask psychological questions to determine personality. Not personal question but scenario based.
Example: if you were a vegan and go invited to a party would you require the host to make vegan dishes?
I know this is Reddit so I am expecting the good, the bad and the ugly.
