Interviewed at a Utah coffee chain, they pay $8 an hour

I am in between jobs after getting laid off, and I’ve been interviewing like crazy. There is a coffee shop/ chain in Utah called “Beans and Brews.” I interviewed at Starbucks, which pays $16 an hour. I was leaning towards BAB because it’s a more local place, I think they are only in Utah(?), and they have better non-frozen food, and the atmosphere is awesome. But I’m so torn now. I almost want to boycott that place, their drinks are just as expensive as Starbucks and it sucks they pay them so little. OR do I go out of my way to go there and make sure to tip them?? What would you guys do?
